Summer Retreat, what a treat!

I’m still buzzing from our FIRST retreat couple weeks ago. It was such a wonderful time and I’m so honored to have the privilege to create such a special weekend for 7 moms. As everyone arrived and got settled, you could feel the positive energy and excitement.

We started off Friday night with some get-to-know-you activities, sat down for a (kid-free) delicious dinner + wonderful conversations and ended the night with some restorative yoga.

Saturday was a mix of some planned activities and free time.

Sophia Turner, a sexual therapist, guided us with self reflection exercises and dialog around what sexual wellness means to each of us individually after becoming mothers. Then we welcomed Marcia Brenner for some pelvic floor Pilates. It felt so good to move our bodies in a way that was also serving us.

During free time, we had an on-site massage therapist give massages and put everyone in a very relaxed state. Some other free-time activities included going to get nails done, taking walks around the neighborhood, taking a bath, taking a nap and we all came back together for a porch happy hour before dinner.

We ended the day around a bonfire with some great conversation and laughs.

Before we knew it, it was time to leave the house and go back to the “real world”. Everyone left feeling recharged, restored, a little lighter and with a new mom friend. I couldn’t have asked for a better first retreat.
